A few days in the Hunter Valley

Last week my hubby & I were lucky enough to escape to the Hunter Valley for a few days (just the two of us...yay!!)...I have my Mum & Mum in law to thank for holding down the fort here. Can't thank you both enough for looking after the tiddly peeps!!

We try to get away, just the two of us, at least once a year for much needed time alone together. We hadn't been to the Hunter Valley for quite a few years and we fell absolutely in love with it. It's funny whenever we go away somewhere we find ourselves inspecting the realestate in the area and fantasizing about relocating. Does anyone else do this???

So here are a few highlights...

And if we ever have the opportunity to renew our vows, this is where we will do it...

Roberts restaurant is gorgeous, a little cottage that is so cozy and rustic on a beautiful property complete with vineyard and a chapel. And just up the road is Peppers Convent, I think we'll stay there next time...we'll have to start saving now though :) My favourite spot in Pokolbin I think!! Closely followed by Scarborough's vineyard (and their Chardonnay) lol.

 Have a Lovely day!!
